Being "Mindful" allows us to show up fully in our lives and for our children. *We spend an average of 8 hrs a day at work and another 8 hrs a day being "distracted" from life on our devices. That leaves precious little hours left in the day for nurturing ourselves and our relationships with our loved ones. *As parents, you will spend 90% of the time you will ever have with your children in the first 18 years of their lives... Learning how to be mindfully present with them from the very beginning will create a deeply meaningful connection with them and lasting shared memories. Your child is your greatest teacher. They are born with the innate ability to be in the present moment. This class will remind you how to be in that space as well, so you can meet your partner mindfully and be a more present parent to your child(ren). Come learn mindful techniques that will support you through the discomforts of pregnancy and birth, and the growing pains of parenting. This is a 5 hr class that can change the course of your parenting path for the better. You will learn breathing techniques to calm you, as well as different meditative practices to alleviate anxiety and ground you in the present moment. You will also learn specific mindfulness practices that support clear communication and connection with your partner and children.
